Tooth Colored Fillings
Minor defects, such as tiny fissures and incipient decay can be fixed with cosmetic fillings. A unique shape and size of dental composites, which are tooth colored fillings, imitate a tooth’s physical qualities. Such natural look and properties are possible with composite resins also known as white fillings. As composites consist of a special resin, strengthened with glass quartz molecules. In order to achieve the best effects, at Dentihealth we only use the most advanced components and time proven materials for dental crowns, fillings and dentures. Before a composite filling is placed, the diseased (pathological) or vitiated part of the tooth needs to be removed. After that, the missing fragment of the tooth is carefully sculpted with the composite filling and is adhered into place. The durability of composite fillings should guarantee a years-long functioning, comfort and natural look. Composite fillings, or bondings, are an alternative for amalgam (silver) fillings. The cavity within a tooth is removed and the tooth is etched and prepared for the placement of a tooth colored filling. The filling is polished down in-line with the patients bite and no one is able to tell that it is not a natural tooth.
Inlays
Sometimes a tooth is only slightly damaged. A filling may be too large for the tooth to support, but a full coverage crown can be too aggressive. This in between treatment is similar to a porcelain filling that gets cemented in place.

Fixed Bridges
When a tooth in between is not able to saved it will need to be extracted. Now there is a space between two teeth. In order to fill in the space the tooth in front and the tooth behind will need to prepared to accept crowns on each. the two crowns will be soltered together by a third “floating” tooth. This is what we call a three unit bridge. (because it involves the spacing of three teeth)
